Marwood Hill Gardens Pop Up Hog Roast

We’re absolutely delighted to have been invited for the very first time to the beautiful Marwood Hill Gardens for their Pop-Up Pub Evening!

 Friday 19th June
 Food served from 5:30pm – 8:30pm
 Bar open from 6pm – 10:30pm
 Live jazz from Simon Jones & friends throughout the evening

This month, the pop-up pub will be joined by Emily & Shane from North Devon Hog Roast, serving delicious homemade food from their rustic horsebox kitchen 

Based on our family farm in the heart of North Devon, we’re passionate about proper homemade food, local ingredients, and bringing a warm personal touch to every event we attend. Wherever possible, we use trusted local suppliers and homemade ingredients — from our hogs with full traceability through to locally baked rolls — never mass-produced or shop bought shortcuts.

 Our hogs are slow roasted for around 12 hours to create incredibly succulent pork and our multi-award-winning crispy crackling!

Hog Roast Rolls: hog, stuffing, crackling and choice of sauces.
 Piglet/Kids – £6
 Oink/Adults – £8

Meal Deals (with crispy roast potatoes & homemade gravy, plus all the trimmings):
 Piglet Meal/Kids – £9.50
 Oink Meal/Adults – £11

Gluten-Free Options:
 “Dirty Loaded Roast Potatoes” – pork, roasties, stuffing, crackling, sauces & gravy – £11
(Gluten-free rolls also available – limited stock)

Vegetarian Option:
 Grilled halloumi burger with guacamole OR cranberry & sweet chilli – £6

No pre-orders needed — just turn up hungry! First come, first served until we sell out 

 We’re also proud business partners of Children’s Hospice South West and North Devon Hospice — two incredible charities very close to our hearts.

 Wisteria season is in full bloom at Marwood Hill Gardens, and guests are very welcome to enjoy a wander around the gardens for a small donation payable at the bar.

 Well-behaved dogs are very welcome on leads
 Please consider bringing camping chairs as some lawns are unavailable during “No-Mow May”
 CASH IS KING — WiFi and signal can be very limited onsite
