North Devon Hog Roast is a family run venture ran alongside our Holiday Cottage & Glamping experience in North Devon. We are very passionate about promoting our own farm reared pork whenever available and only using the highest quality farm reared alternative when necessary.
The North Devon Hog Roast Company provides hog roast and catering hire for all occasions including private parties and events, weddings, fetes, christenings and corporate events based in North Devon.
We are an established family run business with catering experience, the reputation we have built means everything to us, it’s a great feeling to watch all the nods of approval from customers as they tuck into our food! We accompany this with amazing service and a cheerful smile.

Our range of different potato dishes are cooked fresh on the day and are a great accompaniment for a hog roast.
We have a wide range of delicious vegetarian options for your guests at your event that choose not to eat meat.
We offer a large range of mouth-watering canapés that are presented before your main meal to stimulate the taste buds of all your guests including vegetarians.
Our selection of freshly made salads are designed to go with your hog roast meal. All our fresh food come from local ethically sourced farmers where possible.
To round off your event or function, we can offer tantalizing desserts. Anything from cupcakes to birthday cakes and almost everything in between.
The North Devon Hog Roast is run by me, Sam Hastings and my husband, Andy with the help of our twins Oscar and Emily. We started the North Devon Hog Roast Company as we wanted to produce pork that was not just full of flavour but would be succulent and good for us.
We are committed to supporting local farmers, producers and small independent businesses, and in turn the local economy.
Because of our traditional values we have searched for good wholesome ingredient’s and we pride ourselves in sourcing everything we use locally. This is part of our ethics and passions for the cause. All our meats and produce comes from either our own farm where possible or trusted and reputable butchers, bakers and grocers.
The Bramley apples we use for our apple sauce are grown in the orchard on our family farm. Along with our baker we have developed what we believe to be the best roll for a hog roast sandwich. Its soft, white and floury but full of substance so it doesn’t disintegrate in your hands!
We aim to exceed our client’s expectations through local sourcing, being environmentally aware & by delivering excellence in home-made, honest good food and service from farm to plate.
Our services are fully backed by Full Health and Safety certification, Public Liability Insurance and 5 star Hygiene Certification.
All our hog roasts are served in biodegradable plates and napkins with wooden cutlery.
We provide all our customers with the quality of service we would expect to receive ourselves and are pleased to be able to serve tasty meat with local provenance. When you book North Devon Hog Roast for your event or party, we guarantee that you will have a member of the Hastings family on your catering team making sure you are given the best of personal service. You will find our set menus on our website, however as a small family business we are able to provide a bespoke service which best meets individual needs and requests.
