CLOVELLY LIGHT SWITCH ON WITH NORTH DEVON HOG ROAST SERVING!

The Christmas lights turning on is a truly magical occasion in Clovelly. Starting at 4 pm, the festivities kick off with a local brass band leading the procession down to the harbour, singing festive Christmas carols along the way.

North Devon Hog Roast will be there serving up their multi-award-winning hog roast from our gazebo, alongside Christmas grog and other refreshments available at the Harbour and Lifeboat Station.

Then, Father Christmas himself will make a surprise appearance!

After the Carol Service, led by a local vicar and sung by a local choir, the much-anticipated moment arrives—the switch is thrown, and the entire village and harbour lights up in a spectacular display. It’s a sight you won’t want to miss!

To round off the evening, there’s a grand finale of fireworks to light up the night sky.

Please note: We kindly ask that you leave your dogs at home as the noise, flashes, and smells of the fireworks can unsettle them.
